Fossils are the remains of ancient organisms. It is the preserved remains or traces of organisms like plants and animals that lived millions of years ago. Fossils are formed when plant and animals die in a watery place or environment, soft tissues rot away, the bones are hardened and buried; over time the bones harden as rocks.
Fossil Fuel is formed from natural processes where fossils are converted to coal, oil and natural gas.
